Chrome Remote Desktop software is an application tool designed by Google, which enables a user to remotely access another PC via a secure protocol designed by Google, unofficially known as “Chromoing”. It works by allowing the user to set up a specific network which allows the user to be in touch with their desktop, laptop, tablet and other connected devices via a secure network. This means that while the user is away from their home network, their data and other settings are kept safe and secure.

The main difference between this type of application tool and many other desktop sharing tools, such as Windows Live, MySpace or Yahoo! 360, is that Chrome uses Chromosome technology to allow the user to share their desktop, laptop, tablet and other connected device settings over a secure network. This means that even if the user leaves their home network and connects to the internet, they can still connect to the same Chromosphere network, enabling them to use all their connected devices on the web. With Chrome, the desktop of each connected device will show up in a separate browser tab.

The basic premise of Chromosome is that any user with a browser or device will be able to access the same information. However, unlike regular file sharing applications, this type of program does not restrict the use of data for one user and allows the user to share the same information with several people. The user is only restricted by the amount of memory that is being used by the device. In this way, even if the computer crashes or is stolen, the user can access and use the data from all of their connected devices at the same time, which means that they can access all the settings, software, documents and other files of the users in a single browser window.

There are three different ways in which Chromosome can be accessed, with the most popular being an applet and with a plug-in for Firefox and other browsers. The applet method is used by most Windows users, with plug-ins designed to support browsers like Internet Explorer and Opera for Macs, while Firefox users will find the plug-in method very useful. Both methods allow the user to access the Chromosphere networks through the browser, while browsing and viewing files from the desktop, laptop, tablet and other connected devices.

Another difference between the two types of desktop sharing tools is that Chrome is designed to only use the Chromosphere network and has no option to share files across other networks. This means that if a user needs to view a document shared on an iPad, they will need to connect to the Google Chrome network directly.

Chrome for desktop sharing software has been designed to allow users to easily work on their laptops, tablets, desktops and other connected devices from wherever they are. No matter what device or browser is connected, they will be able to access the same files, settings and other information in the same way as long as a secure connection is available.
