Once you have added an STA on your virtual desktop, then all is well. Your remote desktop should be functioning normally, as it should be configured for use from a specific NetScaler Gateways.
There are many NetScaler Gateways available on the internet, and with each, comes a new set of virtual server software. With some of these, you may even need to use your own FTP account and FTP client to add additional virtual servers. You can do this by clicking the “Virtual Servers” tab and then going to the “Structure” section of your ESM page.
This gives you the option of assigning a particular Virtual Server to the NetScaler gateway in which you wish to run your Citrix virtual desktop. from, allowing you to create your virtual desktop from any number of ESMs. Once your virtual desktop has been created, it is ready for use.
Once your Citrix remote desktop is running and connected to the NetScaler Gateway, you can configure it for use from the virtual desktop browser. All that you need to do is enter the username and password you entered during setup. Once you have entered the password and clicked the “Start” button, your virtual desktop should start working on its own. As with any other virtual desktop, you can log on and use the computer mouse and keyboard to perform any number of functions as well.
The only difference between a working Citrix remote desktop and a working NetScaler virtual desktop is that the former can be customized by you. and used for different purposes such as testing software, managing business processes, or conducting simulations for software testing. and design.
