8 Things You Should Know Before Embarking On Windows 8 Classic Desktop | windows 8 classic desktop

A Better Tablet Experience Windows 20H1 (aka the Windows 10 Classic Desktop) is getting a whole new “tablet” experience that really falls in-between the horrible Windows XP tablet mode and the not so great Windows 10 desktop mode. In this article I'll tell you why this is an important upgrade for Windows users, and what you need to do to get started.

When using a Windows PC with a touchpad, with no other peripheral devices connected, you can simply switch to an easy-to-read tablet-style UI. This works in a similar way as using the Windows Mobile phone (for example, when you're using your PC on a train), where it's hard to read the keyboard if you have to hold the phone up to your face (which is one of the biggest usability problems of using the Windows Mobile phone). The Windows 10 tablet UI makes the Windows PC much more user-friendly and is also a lot faster and easier to navigate than the XP tablet mode.

However, as previously stated, this is only applicable to PCs with a physical keyboard – not laptops, which only have a keyboard and a trackball. When you are on a laptop, it is often very difficult to adjust to the use of a tablet-style UI, because the entire screen is taken up by the laptop's keyboard. With Windows 10 you don't have to worry about this – thanks to the ability to change to the touch-friendly tablet UI as needed.

In fact, this also works well with all Windows devices. For example, when you're on your laptop, all you need to do is open your Start Menu and select your preferred desktop mode (including the “classic” desktop mode), and then click on the “taskbar.” Then drag the mouse pointer down to the right side, and click on the “start button.”

This will then open up the “taskbar,” where you can switch from one desktop mode to another, and continue working while you drag the mouse with your fingers. It's a much better, more intuitive way to switch between desktop modes than it would be with the traditional keyboard and trackpad – it will also save you a great deal of time.

If you haven't yet upgraded your Windows computer, now is a great time to do so. You won't regret it!

You'll also find that the Nokia X has a great touch-screen, and it's so much faster than the older XP tablet mode. And the new Windows 10 Tablet UI makes this even faster, making your experience a lot more enjoyable. All in all, the new Windows 10 Tablet UI has made using your PC much more comfortable, and it will definitely impress your friends.

So if you want to get the most out of your tablet device, the Nokia X or any other Windows 10 tablet, you should consider upgrading to Windows 10. Today.
